You havnt seen Rons MJ much if you agree with that statement.
In the link is an underbilt MJ on 40's, where as Rons running an overbuilt MJ on 35's.

It has a few things that Ron doesnt, but not a ton. Ron has beeter wheels, and steering, and has a hydro assist kit ready to go in. Those guys set that thing up on 40's without assist.........barf

Their coilovers in the back are inboarded, which is significantly inferior to Rons outboard setup.

The only thing seperating the two trucks is zones excessive use of their dimple die kit, and some fiber glass panelling. Personally because of the suspension design, and the other parts Ron has sitting on his shelf right now, I'd actually take Rons MJ over the one in the link.

But "big" wheels do have that effect sometimes, making people think the rig must be the bomb because of the rubber under it.

Bill if you are looking for a fight not going to find one with me.

I was trying to Ron.

His and Zones both have and are missing different components. Both in a heads up comp will come out the same. the big difference is Rons has been built since 1992 with a lot of thought and reworked to be perfect and Zones in the last 6 weeks with a deadline that had to be met. they even say allot of work is still needed and they got in over their heads but pulled it off and showed up at UA.

There are pages and pages of suspension theory's as long as it works for the owner and they are happy, giver hell.

and the Ultimate in the title comes from it was built for and went to the Ultimate Advencher.

You may want to pressure wash that JK out Shawn, I may have even peed a bit maybe bajaing with you an Ron ;)
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

To each their own is correct, but at the same time, outboard will always eqaul greater then inboard. That is not theory, its fact.

Not starting a fight, just disagreeing with the statement that Ron has a long ways to go to catch up with that MJ.

In my opinion, Ron is far closer to an ultimate build for his 35" tired MJ, then those guys are to an ultimate build to handle the 40's they prematurely stuff under that MJ.

But like I said, people can easily get distracted by the bling of big tires.
