And I thought I was the only one who ran 15w40.
Quiets down the top end, lots.

Any 10w 30 and some zinc lozenges. Gotta have zinc.  8)

I would suggest if you are attempting to be humourous, it may be time for some new material.

If you actually want to provide the old 4.0 with increased zinc check out GM EOS (engine oil supplement).

Shell Rotella 10w30 and 15w40 is all I run in my Jeeps now. Great quality oil, and has extra ZINC for the old 4.0. Also it's priced fairly close to everything else. Gonna start buyin the 20L pails soon!

Yeah I've been using 15w40 diesel oil in the 4.0 for summer and 0w40 for winter. Quieter valves.

Sorry to have to disappoint you guys but from what I understand Rotella no longer has any more Zinc in it than any other oil. Seems they have had to remove it just like they have from all the other API certified oils just to meet all of the new & very stringent emissions standards (thanks California). If you want to run oil with sufficient zinc levels for our flat tappet 4l motors your going to have to run a non API certified oil such as Royal Purple HPS. As for the comment on how much you can recycle at the dump, I recycled pretty close to 80L today without any issues at all and have recycled up 300L in the past, they pumped out an entire barrel for me.

Nah. That's still funny.

Especially with some belt dressing on it.   :D
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
