JK Question

Kind of a tech question...  On my 05 LJ, the chrome grill from the factory was installed over the painted grill.  I removed it by taking off the headlight trim and a few bolts.   Are the JK grills the same..??

I think Scott is asking if the chrome grill on a jk is an overlay like on the yj and tj.
