Brake fluid change
« on: January 09, 2012, 09:26:57 PM »
Gents,

I just checked all the vitals in the rigs and it looks like tranny fluid for the Grand and power steering fluid on the Durango. I am running the OEM fluid in teheran grand tranny as it is already synthetic. I am wondering if someone has any thoughts on the Lucas PS fluid or just plain old fluid. Also does anyone know how to change the fluid that could give me a hand?  Thanks

I've only ever drained the ps fluid out of the res and drained the lines, and then refilled. When it comes to the ps fluids or any group 1 hydraulic oils I've always just used whatever the owners manual says weather it be ATF of man specific product.   My $0.02.
