If just the right rear check the ebrake is releasing and the caliper sliders  are sliding. If those are fine then caliper is probably seizing.

Yes, kind of what I thought,  I know what is or could be wrong, kind of a no brainer...seems to be a thing with stock brake parts...  I am asking for owners ideas on after market parts. Brand names, what has worked for them, etc... Thanks though... 8)

Whats wrong with 100,000kms out of a stock caliper that in all likelyhood has seen its share of moisture and contaminants which would lead to premature failure?

Pretty hard tough to better then OEM when it comes to brake parts. Other then pads.

Thanks Vinman,  and Bnine good point...!  they worked for the life of the jeep so far, and probably couldn't beat the replacement cost of stock.  Always did use a better pad.  Thanks guys.   8)

Went with stock replacement caliper and the better pads that I have used in the past.  Yes I did the pads on both sides...  Easy job, spent around $160.00 ...  a lot cheaper than a shop doing it.  Still on a budget though,  will change out the other caliper on the rear when money permits.... 8)
