warning label regarding differentail

Why does my 90 YJ and many other YJ's have a warning label inside the
glove box telling me that I have a "Locking Type Differentail" when it does not ??

Did the YJ ever come with a locking diff ??

Warning of a limited slip style of differential is my guess

Doesn't yj have a vacuum lock actuator on the diffs? To engage the front axle into 4wd?

No, but it does on the passenger side front axle. Unrelated to the diff.
