Hey all,

My fiance and I just got rid of our tiny little cars and finally got real vehicles.

Hers:

2007 4 door wrangler sport candy apple red.

Mine:

2011 2dr wrangler mojave edition

We'll be looking to join you on trails etc when ever possible =] Any basic upgrades anyone recommends that we do to make them trail ready?

Thanks !

Fixed that for ya.

Welcome Carl + Lindsay, sincerely hope you can take a joke around here, its part of the fun ;) Feel free to poke fun at my 11 year old brick with the tractor engine  sittin on blocks in the garage hehe.

Make yourself trail ready first, wheel em just the way they are and figure out the short comings that hinder YOUR needs first. It's to easy to get caught up on what everyone else is doing for mods and the like. Wheel em stock for abit, and you'll soon figure out what you need to do. Id start with basic recovery gear and don't wheel alone. Nothings ruins a day more then simply not having a $50 recovery strap and no one to pull ya out with it.

Congrats! Welcome to the Jeep family.
Nice choices, I've got the 08 4 door Wrangler, it does pretty well, I'm thinking a 2 pr 3 inch lift is in order... Something to consider perhaps. I'm till trying to figure out which lift to go with though, and weather to just do spacers or a full spring lift... Lots of choices out there.
If you don't have anything useful to say, its best to say nothing.
hmmm I might be a little OCD when I have a project...

This X2.

And welcome to the fray :D
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...
