Some guy on Kijiji selling TJ Rugged Ridge Flares set for $400? Aren't these flares usually sold new for around the $220 mark?

Bushwacker Pocket-style are around $450.

Now he has lowered the price on Kijiji to $340...lol.  So does anyone here have any thoughts on the quality of these Rugged Ridge flares?

Stay away from smittybuild I bought there flares for 300 shipped and they didn't last a year

You kinda get what you pay for. I have them. They keep me legalish. But they're duct taped in many places;).

Ya, I'm a BIG believer in the " you get what you pay for" mentality, but ever since Warn discontinued their TRAIL FLARES(which Rugged Ridge seems to have copied as a cheap knock-off), I can't find any decent flares that I like. The Rugged Ridge have the look, clearance and coverage that the Warn Trail Flares had, but at 1/3 the cost of the Warn's, how good can they really be...quality wise?

It depends. If your looking for street. They're fine. They break quite easy, especially in the chillier months. I've been wheeling for 7 years now, and still drive and have the mentality of a newbie.  I drive like an idiot compared to 90% of everyone else... So I'm reallllly hard on everything. With that said if you're more delicate (for lack of a better word) and drive with way more precision than me, I think they'll be fine, even wheeling.
