Fall Flex 2014
« on: September 14, 2014, 11:33:24 AM »
Was a good day.  LOTS of nice prizes and I think the count was 85 Jeeps registered.

Next year will be better planned with even more vendor sponsorship so it should be a great event.

I was too busy running around making sure things were rolling so I didn't have a chance to snap any pics.

I agree... this was a good event and next year should be even better.

Once again a big shout out to Vince for bringing the ramp up and picking up all the prizes, Dan for helping keep things organized and making sure the show and shine portion of the event ran smoothly, Bill (EEP) for helping out on the registration table for a lot of the day and Andy for helping to man the ramp.

I'm pretty damn proud of the way the CJA represented at this show.  There weren't many of us there but we worked our asses off and made sure things ran smoothly.  No other club could say they had 100% volunteer participation for members that showed up.

Yup, that was definitely a blast, thanks to everybody that helped out, can't wait until next year.

Oh yeah, after struggling with the ramp, it is now an entire one man setup/teardown operation, jacks all the way around to pull tires and hook-up/unhook from the tow vehicle. Only took 14 years ;D

A big thanks to you guys for running things yesterday. Next year, I think we need to set it up so that we have a list of who is running what, so that one club is not stuck manning the volunteers.  For a small contingent, you guys made the entire show run. :)

Tried to be there since its only 3o minutes away from me but work interfered :( Next year for sure! Cant wait to see some of the pictures, and thanks to those from the CJA that did make it to represent us!
I did a Google search for "hot trannies" but nothing came up about oil coolers  :o

Worrying too much about mpg with a Jeep is similar to worrying about your sister's virginity. An ok thing to be concerned about but...

I had a great time.
I spent the night before loading up the jeep thinking what are they going to give points for this year.
Was a little bummed out that it wasn't being done.
Then I watched all the jeeps pulling in and totally understood why it wasn't done this year.
it would of taken for ever to go though 80 plus jeeps.
Awesome show!
