Jeep hardtop storage
« on: May 21, 2014, 10:05:24 PM »
Hey,

New to the forum. I'm looking for someone who wants to take out a storage unit for the summer for the hardtops. Was looking to do this on the weekend. Let me know if interested.

Most of us just drop them off at Airdrie Pick 'n Pull for the season. You can easily hide a hardtop or twelve in amongst all the derelicts.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

My TJ hardtop gets put in the backyard for the summer. Guess if you live in a apartment or condo you would not have the yard option.
01 XJ, RE 3.5" lift, Smittybilt XRC front & rear bumper, X2O 8,000 lb winch, 33" MT/R's
, ARB snorkel, lockers and a bunch of other stuff
06 TJ, 2" lift, 31" Goodyear Territory's.

Only hard tops I have here now are my own.  Also no more parts vehicles if you can believe it.

Hey all,

Thanks for the replies. So then you just drive over and leave your hardtop outside in the junk yard? Wouldn't someone claim it as their own?

wsquared is just poking fun at the local jeep club wrecking yards ;)

if you leave a hard top outside of one of these establishments they will take it haha. and sell it... cheap..... lol.

most of us just keep hard tops in the garage or backyard. they make remarkable storage spots/work benches.

however i guess if you ahve a few interested parties a storage locker could work. make sure you make proper payment arrangements, you wouldn't want to end up on 'storage wars'.... however that would be the best episode ever

Haha,

Ok. Well I live in a downtown apartment, so it will be storage for me!
