05 LJ 4.0,  six speed. Engine light came on at start and would not rev over 2100 rpm.  Idle is fine, can't get engine over 2100 in gear or neutral.   Any thoughts.?

So the check engine light went away and the engine runs fine now. Turns out it was the inline quadrajet input connector hooked to the rear seat fabricater diode.  Typical Jeep exhaust set up malfunction.  All good now.  Seriously no idea what the heck it was... would be cool to find out.
