K & N Air Intake

Hey everyone, can't find the answer to this anywhere.
Im planning on buying a K&N intake, model #57-1553.
I realized that this is for a JK, but for the 3.8L engine (07-11)
I have a 2013 with the 3.6L engine.. do you think this will fit on? Or if not
is there any way to retrofit on? Anyone done this before? Thanks

Did some more research and I dont think it would be possible to fit, I think the mounting points are different, as well as the length/shape of the pipe is different.

Dude. Just add the stickers. That's where all the HP gain comes from anyways.

Yep, I wouldn't waste your time/money. I just added the K&N filter to the stock box. Relatively cheap at CTC...

And I think the engine is different.

A re-usuable filter in the stock box is probably a better bet. Its more protected, and if your jeep sees more than stock roads it would be better to have some water and gunk protection over the open element variety.

if you go with exposed "oiled" filter get the little pull overs for them - think they are called prechargers (from K&N), you can see through them, first few times out without one noticed mud on filter dries then "draws" the oil out of filter - not what you want - with a precharger it doesnt.
