Certain areas for sure have been reduced to just a fire advisory. They appear to include waiparous and McLean for the most part. I heard on the news tonight that the city of Calgary has lifted their band as well   But it doesn't yet show on the fire ban website.
Just check out Albertafirebans.ca

Sounds like waiporous and maclean are good to go and down south still has complete back country closure. Not even access to highway 940/40.

Elkford and Sparwood are still on evacuation alert. Multiple fires are burning west of these comunities.
Lost week in Waterton the kenoe fire advanced over 40 miles in one day due to bad wind. Those could be in Alberta in one day if conditions where right. So suspect when bc ohv ban is lifted the southern part of Alberta will be as well.
