I should have specified, the comforsers are what my welder was running, not the duratracs!

Well that makes more sense!

And yeah - Vince - I drove 1 tons dually's with BFG AT's on them for a couple of winters working on a recording crew and they did well. I like my Duratracs, but I definitely don't have an "apples to apples" comparison to offer like yours because they were on a Jeep - and they were studded. Even with the studs, they aren't anywhere near as good as actually having winter tires on.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(

That I totally agree with. I like my BFG AT’s for the winter, and honestly, for long tripping in the summer. They work well enough for a lot of bc fsr type travel. But after throwing dedicated winter tires on this year, yea, I’m sold on them. Must be getting old or something!! Lol!

What did you end up going with?

I've get a set of 33's - General Grabber Arctic LT. They are better in 2WD than my studded Duratracs were in 4WD.

I’ll have to double check. Can’t remember if they’re a general or the Toyo. They’re on the wifeys truck. I’m stick with toyo M55’s on my company truck. There’s a tire to give you grey hair when it gets icy. Man, I hate them!

Yup. Those M55's are tough and last forever...but sticky on ice they ain't.
