Trails 4 Tomorrow continues to engage with the Government of Alberta and our members to support recreation in Alberta. We recognize the importance of having a voice in how Crown land is used. We would like to share that the Government of Alberta is recognizing the importance of sustainable outdoor recreation and has been engaging various recreation groups in Alberta. The Government is currently looking at improving how recreation is managed on provincial Crown land through an online survey.
Alberta Environment and Parks is asking our members and their members to provide input as part of Alberta’s Crown Land Vision (
https://www.alberta.ca/alberta-crown-land-vision.aspx) engagement process.
The survey can be found at
http://www.alberta.ca/sustainable-outdoor-recreation-engagement.aspx and is available until
January 15, 2021. This is our time to have a voice and show how important sustainable trails, stewardship, trail building, and access is important to our 4 wheel drive community! This survey is also an important opportunity to preserve our trails for future generations.
If you have any questions please let me know. Please share this information with your members and anyone who is looking to improve our access to 4 wheel drive trails in Alberta.
