question for sale
« on: November 02, 2006, 09:14:29 PM »
Has anybody had experience with this or have any tips...I'm wondering if it would be best to part out my jeep before I sell it. I don't really have that much stuff, just the winch, CB, bunch of spare parts. Let me know what you guys think please.

Thanks

I think it was discussed on a forum (maybe this one) that a modded jeep will go for the same price as a stocker, so part it out first.
`48 CJ2A, `54 CJ3B, `97 TJ, and 03 WJ...batting close to .500 when it comes to jeep models owned vs. jeep models created.....

I think that your Jeep is more offroad than onroad and dunl is right about price, but I think you would be better off selling it as is., especially with all the tube work

it's true that a modded jeep does not sell for much more than a stock jeep but it will deffinitely sell faster considering the number of jeeps for sale. I'd leave it as is if you want to move it fast. if you part it out, chances are youll sell the parts right away and be sitting on the jeep for quite a while.
