I dont know as far as snowboard racks but I've got a Saris Cycle on Rack that is just simply awesome!  That's really all I need to say about it, it's that good.  As for snowboards I ushually just throw mine on the roof and sinch the factory racks somewhat tight against the bindings.  They may slide a bit but it gets the job done and it's free.  Back to that Saris rack, it's that good!  Ridley's has them for $400 I believe...pricy but again that good! :D :D
uh...
My shovels nicer!

Ok, out of the blue pitch here... anyone have knowledge of the mainly overseas rooftop tent setups?  Easy pickings for Land Rovers, assorted Toyotas, etc, but what about an aftermarket rack based tent for a TJ that pivots back to accommodate hard top/ soft top, use?

Has anybody seen a configuration locally on a TJ that provides for rooftop slumber off the ground out of the food chain?

Thanks - and if not, do we have an avenue here for further opportunity in our region to outdoor enthusiasts?
I'd rather be dragging a club than clubbing in drag

I have these two items, not hitch, but tire carrier...Havent used yet so i couldnt tell you how well they work, but they are 119.95 and 139.95 dollars, respectively. I got them from Gemini-sales.com, and the brand is Swagman.

I've seen a hardtop Tent for the new JK in some SEMA pictures...Pretty sure its by American Expedition Vehicles. They are in the process of updating their site so i couldn't find any pics unless i went back through the thousands of sites/pictures from sema i've looked at.

To be honest, i would rather just pitch a tent on the ground, I would hate to buy a new, obviously expensive, hard top to camp on my jeep   I dont think it would save me enough time or effort.

A question i have, do most TJ roof racks pivot back so you can drop the soft top without completly taking the rack/frame off?
