It was just the two of us, It was an easy fun day, We did all the trails at waiparous.

It looks like we are not allowed to go to the falls anymore. A km or so from the falls, where the sign saying "FLUZ area boundary"  There are now two signs saying "Provincial Park,No Motorized vehicle past this point"
I have pic's and gps I wil compare this to the official GAMP map and try to figure out what is going on. I will update later.
I used to have an open mind but my brains kept falling out.

We were not in any kind of a hurry at all, we left cochrane at nine and got back at six. I have no doubt that if you left the gravel pitwent down meadow creek to the falls andback out  using lost knife, it could be done in under 3 hours, in winter, with frozen trails like they were yesterday.
If any one heads out that way it would be good to take a chain saw for meadow creek trail. lots of blown down trees. The gravel pit is closed for a while. It is being used as a gravel pit :) . Go figure

It was quiet out there again, We saw maybe a dozen quads and a small group from the Nissan club.

The trails were hard nearly everywhere. Some where packed, some towards the falls had 4-5 inches of powder, before we headed down, by time we came out and the Nissans when in and out I imagine it was getting pretty packed. But mostly they were bare frozen trails.

Not even close. You will have to wait for a couple more snow falls. The waiparous river was still flowing in parts, Not at all frozen over.

I have posted about this in the Land use area. Basically, that is the official end of the trail.
