hey anyone know about putting a 4.0l head on a 4.2l motor or a site to go to

Go search pirate, and you will find lots of info.

BC4x4 would probably have a few articles as well.

I know there is a little bit of customization involved. Blocking off some water jackets and what not.

A good hotrod alteration ! , however  it's not advisable to do this on an engine that is high milage unless .......... it's done during an overhaul , involving  a rebore etc. It's a good time to go with a cam / lifter swap too.

You will have to do some slight modifications and not sure if its really worth it. I almost did that but didnt.

Put your money into a howel injection and it will be much more use to you..

Thanks i found a 96 4.0liter head with everthing i need for $450 and the howell efi is $1200 us. The bottom end on motor was done not long ago but the top is shot so this will work thanks
