My 88 had one on it for a while , great ride , not all that impressive flex , if you use the brackets that clamp to the axle tubes which limit up travel, it would be better to use extended bump stops.

I broke two of the springs , it was dealt with by putting through  a warranty claim. Instead of using another set of those springs , I removed the entire kit and bought Rubicon express 4.5"  springs . Those went on at the same time as the Dana 44 axle swap , .............. I shoulda spent a little more time researching shocks . I really like the Rubicon springs , the shocks ( Superlift ) need more extension / travel to get max flex out of them........ to be fixed later.

ya i know it isn't going to be a hard core lift like
the RE but I want something decent that will ride nice
and will stand a bit of aggression when I go to find my fishing
'spots.

Is this kit worth it?
And do you recommend those shocks with the kit
or any other suggestions.

Thx

A lot of people seem to like the BDS kits and it comes in a 3.5" lift.  Second choice would probably be the standard RE kits

No BDS is something like Big Dicks Suspension.  A lot of people say the ride is decent, flexes well, is reasonably priced and it carries a great warranty, lifetime.

Ive got the lift on my YJ.  It rides fairly well and has decent flex from what I know, I have only owned one lift so I don't really know.  I bent a spring getting pulled out of a icy hole, and it wasn't covered under warranty.  Its not that bad for the price.
