YJ Soft Top Rear Window Repair

Hey Everyone!

Have any of you ever replaced the mylar on your soft top rear window?  Like a fool, I left mine on too long last year, and my rear window cracked from the cold.  Rather than replace it, I'd like to get a new sheet of clear plastic and sew it into place.  Has anyone done this, or have any idea how easy/difficult this project might be?

Thanks in advance,
Joe
