Liberty SFAS
« on: January 05, 2008, 04:12:13 PM »
Hi,

We are looking to do a solid front axle swap on my dad's '02 Jeep Liberty (4x4, V6). Wanting to run 33-35 inch tires.

According to one of my offroad mags Rustys Offroad and another company are making a full SFAS kit for the Liberty... No sign yet though....  :( I cant really seem to find an info online about doing the swap, just a couple pic's of Liberty's with the swap done.

I know that Rock Krawler makes a 7 inch lift for the Liberty.... would rather ditch the independent front suspension though!

Does anybody know where I may be able to find info or even more pic's with SFA Liberty's? Better yet has anybody done the swap? Anybody know anybody that has done it?

Any info and help would be greatly APPRECIATED!!!

Thanks  :)

Never seen one.

I could build one, but it would be crazy expensive.

it's been done many times already.  the first and best i saw was projectkj but the website has been down for a while.

wasn't too expensive to do either.  was a couple years ago that i was into the liberty forum but was coming close to a $3000 swap which was pretty good and the price people were hoping to target.

if m0th sees this thread he can probably say more about how it has come along since he is a paid member there and probably still visits lots.

http://www.lostkjs.com is the site and it's well worth being around if you have a liberty.
