Heya...
Anyone running mud flaps / guards on a Jeep TJ?
I'm getting tons of mud spray and dirt kicked up by the rear wheels which is coating the back window. Don't care if the Jeep is dirty, I just want to be able to see... Thought this might be a solution.
Any input apprreciated.

the mopar jeeps flaps are entirely useless if you are lifted. I am thinking of buying a single Semi - Trailer mudflap and cutting two Tj flaps out of it. Mount them to the wheel wells with wing nuts so they can quick disconnect for the trail.

Most the ECO guys run them. Up north the highway cops are pretty strict.
Ramtuff is on here and has a good mudflap setup.

I am also looking for mud flaps my front tires are spraying my rear bushwacker flare and dystroying the paint
I have no running boards (because that would be stupid) but im thinking of fabbing up a sheet that could just be put on quickly.
something that would maybe run as wide as my flare and bolt flat onto my tub and run the length between my flares ..
I will also fabb up something on the rear ill try the semi mud flap thing with wing nuts ( no not you guys the kind you buy at a hardware store)
Thanks ,

Thanks for the replies...
The problem now is how to know what size to cut them, where to mount them, etc, etc. Do I have to drill holes?
On a stock TJ, are the mopar ones any good? How do they mount? Are they $$$$$?
Thanks

there are two types. Moulded plastic ones and heavy rubber. If you want asthetics, go with the moulded ones. my opinion is that they are pretty lame. Yes you will have to drill as far as I understand.
