Co-Driver Wanted for TSD Rally
« on: March 16, 2008, 05:46:05 PM »
Hello all,
I am an avid jeeper, and have taken my jeep around in the Mclean Creek Area, Forestry Road area and enjoyed it throughly.
Now I want to put my Jeep to a new challenge of competing in a TSD (Time Speed Distance) Rally. This relies mostly on the driver's skill to maintain a certain average speed and the co-driver's skill in navigation.
If you are interested in getting some rally experience along with me( I am a novice, looking to start Rallying), I'd be glad to meet with you. So fellow jeepers, if anyone likes what he/she hears, gimme a shout back!

Cheers

Aight, so this is how it works. First one needs to get a rally license for the team( you and your co-driver). After that one can register as a novice in one of the upcoming Western Canada Rallies( Coming up are Rocky Mountain Rally, Cochrane winter Rally, Kananaskis Rally) etc.
The vehicle needs to match the standards/ requirements. Check out these websites below which I found.

http://209.250.151.132/CARSRally/Default.aspx?tabid=92 has the document with the rules

Do post any otherrelevant info if you find some while surfing.

Cheers
