electric power steering pumps on the fc170

looking for info on electric power steering pumps. at this point i only know of 91 ish toyota mr2's had them. Is it possible to have it not running all the time? Anyone know of good sources the dont cost $300?

need enough flow to power a hydroboost brake setup and a power assist steering.

oh yeah this is for the fc170
