Clutch switch......
«

Looks like the electricle switch that reads wether or not the clutch pedal is pushed in or not is going(or really dirty), I was thinking that I would remove or bypass the switch completely by wiring it up to a push button or toggle switch. I assume that the switch is only used while starting the Jeep. Has any one tried this or be able to advise wether or not this will work?

No cruise control? I'd hate to have you blow a motor because it revved the snot out of it when you pushed in the clutch and started to slow down!

My cruise works perfect and the clutch disconnect switch was disconnected by previous owner. There are two different switchs.

The clutch safety switch can be bypassed and bridged together
I have an old yj without,.. but my other vehicles have it and I bypassed.
No issues,.. just have to make sure I'm in neutral all the time incase i use my remote start,.. LOL
