Why not
« on: August 10, 2008, 09:23:44 PM »
i am off to T.O for my annual family gathering downtown.
i always rent a car but because i arrive after midnight my choices are limited. The renatl companies know this
so they 'rape' you. Getting the worst car or the best car is only a $200 increase.
Therefore i have decided to rent the car that i have at times considered buying.

Mustang GT Convertible V8.

i am surprising my wife by either going to Canada's Wonderland (weather dependent) or Niagara Falls.
i also have a few buddies in Kingston that would be a nice cruise.

i hope its HOT and HUMID :)

A guy I worked with has an 07 Mustang GT.
He felt it was a bit "sluggish", fortunately a Mr Jack Roush took care of the problem.
It's now right around 470-480 HP with the full Roush suspension and body kit.

Wow...just wow.
This car is FUN!

Too bad Ontario has a automatic impound, driver suspension and $10,000 fine for 50km/hr over the limit.
We went to Niagara Falls yesterday. Amazing how quickly one gets from 0-120km/hr!

I sold my Long Time(Owned for 17 years) 89 Mustang GT (380HP/5spd) two years ago..............was going to use the money for a new Kubota garden tractor, but somehow it turned into a Ducati ( yes....the wife is still mad !!)
Anyways............I still miss that car  :'(  and the speed bug never left so i started a new project ( which should have been running this summer...but  ::))
How bout a Monster Miata !!! 425HP small block Ford 5.0L ( bored and stroked to 347ci) weighs 2450lbs with motor...that's 1200 lighter than my Gt was !!!
Should be quiet stupid me thinks !!!!
