It really depends on what you want to do. If you are all into mud a good LS will work awesome but if you go lots of technical trails you want a locker. If you are getting a locker, I would definitely recommend a carrier replacement type locker liek the detroits or ARBs.
In my opinion, ARBs are the way to go. Great on road and give you flexibility offroad. No binding in corners and such, plus they are a spool when locked, compared to a detroit which needs power to lock.
