Turned out to be an awesome weekend.

The course for the Pro Modified class was a really difficult on Saturday afternoon, were you only had 1 or two trucks making the first obstacle (Toilet bowl), everyone else either broke or timed out. So it was disappointing for the drivers and spectators.

Sunday’s course was pretty wild, as they adjusted the course and got a chance to see some pretty wild driving.

Bnine ran into some bad luck, almost getting through the toilet bowl on Saturday, but driver’s rear suddenly slipped off one of blocks and fell back in, then running into fuel issues on Sunday’s run.  Billy did awesome on the freestyle, and crawled through most of the obstacles, proving to me that he really needs to run the course solo next year and doesn’t need a spotter.

Joey & Dava put on a good run Saturday morning, but both ended up breaking on the sat afternoon run.  Joey put on a good run and almost finished the rock race on Sunday, but went hard on the last obstacle and tore off a knuckle.

The Stock Modified class saw lots of carnage and 3 or 4 rollovers. Tyler ran into some bad luck Saturday morning and busted a ring gear.  Denise was doing really good, with only 1 point between 2nd &  3rd place, but ran into some bad luck on Sunday.   Huge props to Bnine for an awesome job spotting and getting me through to 1st place in the Stock Modified class....unscathed.  Well, almost...looks like I sprained my wrist driving out of my near roll on the last obstacle.   :o

Driving home from the competition at 125km was just priceless.  8) 8) 8)

The highlight of the weekend was Brink’s back flip at the Wall of Terror.  Only to make it through on his second attempt.  Way to giver buddy!!!
