Powderface Trail??

I was driving out past Bragg Creek on #66.  At the end of route 66, the road turns to dirt, and there's a sign saying "Unmaintained Road Ahead, Travel Not Recommended"  There's also another sign that says Route 68 is 36KM away. In my new Back Country map Book, this road between 66 and 68 is labelled Powderface Trail.

The road looks fine.  Does anyone know of a reason why I couldn't drive this route.  Husky is also supposed to have a project going on in that area, so I would expect the road would be in pretty good shape.

Thanks,
Geoff

it is a gravel road that is completely passable and a short cut up to the #1. They do close it in the winter season becuase it is not maintained/plowed. There are no offshoot trails unless you are hiking/pedal biking.

cheers.
