Heater Control Valve
« on: January 08, 2009, 11:25:29 AM »
Hey, can someone do me a favor and take a picture of your heater control valve and showing which lines are going where in/out of it?

I was playing with the heat valve last night because my heater doesn't work that great.  The lines going in the valve from the engine were HOT and the ones going into the heater core were warm at best.  I looked up on the net and it said you can zip-tie the valve open to let the coolent flow, but when I zip-tie the valve open, the heater inside the cabin blows cold air instead of warm.  I'm thinking it might be hooked up backwards.

I'll probably end up flushing the heater core, I assume it's full of crap.  But it'd be nice to see if my heater control valve is actually hook up right or not.
