Looking For Import Trucks For Sale
« on: August 18, 2008, 09:33:05 AM »
I don't know if anyone can help but my boyfriend and I have been searching high and low for some of these bad boys...

Nissan King Cabs, Toyota Hilux's, Etc...

He wants an Import 4x4 Truck with Extended Cab thats good on Gas, 5 Speed... Does anybody here happen to have any idea where I can find these? Kijiji rarely has any for sale, if ever. Im just curious if theres a website devoted to them or if anyone one knows a place where I'm more likely to find them.

Thanks!!

Now when you say imports do you mean the Right hand drive ones?
If yes, than be prepared to pay LARGE money for any Hilux. They are the most expensive RHD import from Japan.
Its because Africa bidders at the auction try and buy all of them as they are close to Japan. Therefore, we in North America
pay large to outbid them. Expect $14000+. If its cheap, than its probably messed up big time.

i know of an importer that is very trustworthy if its the RHD imports you are after.

Sorry this is something I should have stated in the beginning... he believes that RHD is over-rated.. so RHD is not a requirement.. if anything its something to avoid. He's thinking somewhere around 3500 - 5000 (possibly up) .. depending on the condition of the vehicle, cost of repairs, etc...

The top of his list is the SR5, extended cab 4x4, I4 5spd with less than 220km, that would be ideal.
