Finally lifted my XJ
« on: February 03, 2009, 11:39:56 PM »
Big thanks to Sprocket who helped me install the lift in the front, McClare who lent me some tools to get this lift off gorilla's XJ that he was parting out and Lemon-aid Jay for installing the rear add-a-leafs.

So far I love it.  The tires are noisy because they're a bit cupped, but I'll get over it.  Just waiting for my front hooks to come in the mail and I gotta find a used class 3 hitch for cheap somewhere.  Can't wait to go wheelin with you guys! :)

Thanks!  The only problem I see is that the track bar relocation bracket looks like it might have moved the axle too much to the passenger side.  I won't know for sure until I get it back from the alignment shop today and they tell me I need an adjustable track bar.  :o

Never mind, they just called and said the track was fine, just the toe was out to lunch.  All fixed now. :)

Sort your tow points...until then it's just a parking lot queen :)
My greatest fear is that when I die, my wife sell all my stuff for what I said I paid for it.
