Anyone have any idea what  a 60 over with close to 100,000 highway Kms  stroker is worth? Its a 4 litre block with the 258 crank rods and pistons. Comes with but not installed HO head. Thanks

It's worth whatever you may be able to get for it .  2.5 k ?  , quite generous Bill  , without knowing any specifics about it.

Having said that , let's look at the reality of it . It's a used engine , the provided description is a little vague ,  can be interpretted a number of ways and at this stage in the discussion we  know almost nothing about the details or build quality. Is it a complete and running engine ? or a used short block , which comes with a cylinder head that's not attached.

I agree, 2500 is a lot. Thats why I said the very most. Thats considering its in mint condition and a very well built motor.

Ive know him for a long time and the build was done by a machine shop he choose. So lets say the build is average as we don't know the machine shop well. The head is just sitting there not attached but its completely assembled. It has the original 4L head on it ported and polished with larger valves. The engine ran strong and pulled very well no misses or problem revving to its desired rpm range.  Gearhead when you have time I could bring it to you and you could check it over and rering and bearings and attach the head if you have time. We talked about porting and larger valves on a head from your post.
