OK so my 89 running a 94 HO motor, 1988 AW4 tranny and T-case arn't so happy with the 9" and D44HP. I have to crawl uner but I think I have a 241 (Has Part Time 4x4). I went to check on a SYE for the T-case an the only one available is a hack-n-tap set up,.. an I am not feeling that. So can I grab a 231 out of the newer XJ with an AW4 an bolt it in? Are the splines/linkages the same? What are my options?
