Things have got to be bad if in the last three months they haven't been able to come up with a good plan:

don't think there really is s plan............

let em go under, have gov't oversee the restructuring, kick out the CAW/UAW and selloff assets so Toyota and other automakers can buy in.  THATS the plan.  unless you think after all this GM will be selling more than 13million trucks and SUVs next year............

If you guys think GM's a mess now, just wait and see what the government will do.

how could GM get worse?  they staff are overpaid, underworked and produce a product that has had dropping demand in the last 5 years, yet continue producing irregardless of market trends.

wait sounds like the Gov't is running them anyways.

Rest assured, if the government takes over running GM, they will screw things up in an unbelievable way.

But the big difference will be the fact that the government will have a bottomless bag of money (read: our tax dollars) to keep throwing away.

And I heard Obama backed the warranties....with 20% of the integrated market, I guess Harper will be announcing the same tomorrow.
