? Weight questions ?
« on: April 14, 2009, 09:58:21 PM »
I have a question I could Google it but this will probably be more fun  :)

A Ton = 2000lbs right.

How much is a metric Ton

How much is a Tone?

Also I saw on a UFC fight the weights given in Stone, how much is that in LBS

And for the gust curios, where did these measurements come from.
Why does your Jeep say Toyota on it?
The obstacle is the path.

1 stone = 14 pounds
a "long ton"= 2240 lbs  (british)
an " american ton" or "short ton" =2000 lbs  (which is the one u usually use)
a metric ton is 1000 kilograms also know as a tonne

And given that 1kg=2.2 pounds, 1 metric tonne = 2200 pounds = real close to a long ton.
I followed a rainbow out to a garage and found a leprichaun. The rainbow ended in a potted cactus on his porch, but there was no gold :(
