loss of power?
« on: May 25, 2009, 06:17:35 PM »
my jeep is slowly loosing power, when u hit the gas it kinda sounds like your trying to start in to hight of gear, and sime timed going from say 3rd to 4th, when i shift it feels like i shouldnt of shifted power wise but rpm wise i needed to shift. its like a studder. then today i stopped at a stop sign and when i hit the gas my engine was struggling not to stall and wouldnt go past 2k rpm in nutral. i had to shut it off and restart. any ideas?

05 i follwed the line to what i belive to be the pump, pulled the 2 lines off of it and it smelt like gas, but there was non dripping from either the in or out line. could there be alittle bit of a block or bad fuel filter, and were is the filter?
