Wheel Spacers
« on: July 04, 2009, 05:09:15 PM »
Just wondering if a CJ bolt pattern is the same as a 79 f150 44/9" bolt pattern.
In need of buying new rims but want to buy them with a ford bolt pattern to match axle swap down the road but still maintain current 5x4.5 TJ bolt pattern.
Will these work?

CJ's used a 5x5.5 bolt apttern, and fords use the same. the only difference may be the centre hole may be bigger on the fords. should not matter really. so you could use the spacers to convert your 5x4.5 TJ to 5x5.5 CJ/ford. remember that the spacers are 1.25" thick. so any aftermarket rims may have a small back space all ready.
