Just a quick question. What run would yall say has a higher dificulty rating, the 101 trail backwards or the topoftheworld run....and can both be done in one day if we move at a good pace?

You can make either one more difficult, depends on what you want to include and which direction you attack it from.   I would stab a guess that going up the big hill in 101 could be more challening in spots.

There is one leg of Top of the world towards Fisher East that has a wicked drop off ( or wall if coming towards it) that is serious (there is the by pass) which one could then say makes TOW more difficult... extremely.

Both are fun and alot can be learned from doing them both a number of times.

Yes

I would think the top of the world would be easiest if you go up the "Priddis Creek" trail.  Just like Kevin said it has a by-pass for the hard stuff.  If you take the way Kevin goes to the top of the world then that would be the hardest..lol.
But all can be done in under half a day if all goes as planned :)

Sadly my map doesn't have names on any trails other than fisher west/east.
But the fun way to the top of the world we took you turn left off MacLean Creek road just as you go over the first cattle gate.
Kevin might know the name??

I call that trail the "ridge route" to the Top of the World, there are a few intersections along the route where alternate climbs make it more difficult with increased pucker factor, and still connect with the main route.
