XJ Door Swap
« on: August 29, 2009, 06:29:16 PM »
Hey guys,

Just wondering if anybody has encountered this problem...
I have a '92 XJ 4dr with rusted doors and no power options...
I found a newer XJ ('95 I think) with all doors in pretty much mint condition and power locks/windows. I have no idea if the power options actually work.
I have no real desire to have the power options so is it possible to swap the old door inside panels and window rollers on to the newer doors? Pr is it going to be a massive pain...

there was an article in Jp magazine a couple of months that addressed all and any questions about this swap...  http://www.jpmagazine.com/techarticles/body/154_0901_jeep_cherokee_xj_door_upgade/index.html

have at it.... some minor fab/mod work but a good upgrade
