TJ Alternator?
« on: September 22, 2009, 07:11:52 AM »
Hi,

I havent looked into Alternators for awhile, last I remember people could either upgrade to a Mean Green (higher output) or stick with a OEM equivalent..

What are you using? Who has the best price? Warranty? etc etc.

Thanks guys!!!

Here is a 3rd option, http://www.bc4x4.com/tech/2004/jeepalt/

and a 4th would be take your stock alternator to Amperage Tech and get them to rebuilt it to whatever amps you want

Whats the ballpark cost on a rebuild and seal?

Cost on juicing it up?

Maybe just some contact info and I can call them :)

Thanks!

Hey,

I got a 110 amp (std for 4.0) for $30 with a 90 day warranty from Affordable Auto Wrecking in Calgary.

Works great!
