driveshaft angle

so i know back driveshaft angle has been gone over alot but whats a decent front driveshaft angle or do i have to worry?  i blew 2 cups out on the cv joint and was wondering if driveshaft angle had anything to do with it, or if  i just put it in bad.   :-[  I am currently runnin a 4.5 inch lift if that matters

Don't quote me on this but I think your caster is more important than drive shaft angle.

more or less.  Think shopping cart front wheels.  Diff angle kind of falls out of it.

You stumped me on that one.  You may or may not have cams on the lower control arms?  You can also get adjustable arms.

i just thought of the control arms  :-[
I am running procomp control arms. which brought the diff down.  So by buying longer uppers i should be able to cancel out the effect of a longer lca?  or do I have to go out and buy adjustable control arms?

So you just put the lowers on?  I wouldn't get solid uppers, go adjustable and save the headache.  As for dialing it in, I can't remember what the angles should be.

doesn't your diff have cam bolts at the diff end of the LCA's. If not a set of them might solve your problems.

both cherokee's ive had 1990/1996 dont have cam bolts on the LCA's
