Pick n Pull paradise.

I've been going to the oasis of pick n pull lately for a number of things.

Not only is stuff pretty cheap but I find it entertaining seeing what I can put in the ol' Comanche.

I've recently put in bucket seats off a Cherokee, (which I'm planning to change the seat coverings)
overhead console out of a Cherokee, aluminum rims, front end body parts (hit a street lamp along the highway back in 93),
floor rug, centre console and instrument cluster with a tach. (luv the tach)

The Comanche's are few and far between at the yard. Last fall there was a 4x4 Comanche, if I had moxy would of been nice to convert my pickup to a 4x4.
I lucked out last week, they got a (4x2) Comanche.  After a hour and half  hassle I retrieved the (foot) parking brake mechanism. Mine has a tendency to release on it's own.

I'm coming up to 500 km on the engine. It's a bit of a concern my engine will bail some day.
It pushes a little blue when gunning it and uses oil a fair bit.  I've never changed an engine before, but I'm giving it a serious consideration.

Hopefully I'll be able to keep the Comanche after giving it so much attention.

Pick n Pull has given the ol Jeep new life.
