« on: February 12, 2010, 07:38:48 AM »
does anyone know where i can pick up some steel angle on the weekend?

looking for 2 pieces of 2"x4"x 4' or so for a side step idea so i can bolt to the rock sliders.
wife is getting a bit big these days and it would help her climb in

Dave, don't be cheap, buy this so you both can use it to get in/out of your jeep.

03 TJ - 6" body lift and 31 MTR's, other wise stock.

thanks guys,   i'll go shopping tomorrow and see what i can come up with as far as material.  now im thinking aluminum or some sort of a grate.   but the plan is to mount it to a warn xj rock rail.    was thinking it would be simple to have one leg down and one out as a step.  bolted on for a step and easily removable for wheeling if i ever get out..

Federal is always an option as well, generally cheaper than metal supermarket in my experience
Buy some safety glasses.
