Hmm, check the 07's oil about every month (about every other fillup).  Always seems pretty good.  Last time I really needed to top it up was when I was driving back through the mountains from BC the other year when it was -38 (yeah, the heater was awesome!).  Was a little hard on it with 4 people, and packed to the limit with Christmas stuff.  Other then that it's usually good at it's 3 month change interval.

JasonL_031, sure there aren't any leaks?  Seems a little excessive for so new a vehicle if nothing's wrong.

auto  manufacturers have extended maintenance intervals to what I believe to be an excessive length of time or distance , are oils and lubricants that much better now ?  , I think  not .



If you don't buy the cheapest s#!t out there.  Yes they are.
