05 rubicon lift?

Hi, i bought my first jeep last year an 05 rubicon and i would like to lift it. I was wondering if some of you could help me out since i know nothing other than what i've read online. I'm hoping the keep it around $1500-$2000 with the install ( i dont have the tools or place to do it myself) and i was hoping to run 33x13.5x15
I want 35s but its my daily driver so i thought i would go with a wider 33. not sure if thats a good idea or not?
Anyway i was looking at the rubicon express 3.5" super flex for about $1000 which is a little less height than i would like but thw 4.5" is another $700 or so.
Then i saw a rough country 4" kit on sale for $500.. Are these kits any good? or will i get what i pay for?

my main question is, i read that with my 05 rubicon i would not need a SYE but i still need a cv driveshaft. Is this true?
And where would be the best place around calgary to order a cv driveshaft or even the lift kit itself??

Also is there a good place to buy tires in calgary? I really like the look and price of these pitbull rockers i found online.

Go talk to the guys at National or Modern.  They will be able to answer your questions and sell you tires and bunch of other stuff...

Well i love getting muddy, but i would like an all around capable jeep that i can still drive to work every day. Last year at Mclean Creek i was gettin hung up everywhere. Obviously from ruts made by 38" boggers but i definetly want some height without cheaping out on a crappy lift kit.
I was hoping someone on here could help me find the best kit for what i'm looking to spend. maybe even a good place to buy one or have it installed. I'm new to calgary and jeeps.

ps- i heard some bad things about national. But i wouldnt know first hand

If I were to do it again, I'd go with the 3.5" RE superflex kit from Northridge4x4.com I hear things about the Bushings for RE kits just being crap in Calgary type climates though....If it were me I'd also consider the rough country 4" X series kit with the upgraded shocks
and yes all you need is a C.V. shaft

I'd bet with a 3.5" lift and a 1.25" BL you'd be fittin 35's for cheap or just have room flex those 33's right out

Btw Generally the more skinny the tire the easier it is to drive on the road given that this is a dd. I certainly wouldn't let that stop you from puttin 13.50's just the more info the better

national or modern motors could supply parts and labor for you. northridge4x4.ca can supply parts. as for tires those pitbulls work very well but they are a bias ply tire, which means street manners are non-existant.
3.5" RE lift, daystar 1" body lift, should clear 33's with the right rim ok. may have the occasional flexed out rub.
look for a complete system. some of the cheaper kits leave parts out.
