Installing XJ 2" budget lift

I've just started removing rear leaf-spring bolts.....what the hell is with that upper one???  :-[ Any tips on removing it?
I know I'm a newbie, but Holy Cow!

just a question? what does this budget boost consist of? Rear shackles and a coil spacer?  did you jube the heck out of the top bolt,bottom bolt and every bolt needed to do the install prior?  chances are either that top bolt will just break, or the weld holding the nut inside the "frame" will break, and the nut will spin ..try using and impact and hope for the best...

Yep, shackles and spacer.  Soaked everything for two days prior. No impact.....nothin but hope left :). Thanks for the tip.  8)

Those bolts are such a bugger that cutting or grindind is usually the only way...that's why I prefer the ease of rebuiling a new spring pack onto the existing main leaf over replacing the entire leaf.

You can boost the rear 2 inches using the two longest leafs from a s-10 or dakota added to the spring pack below the main leaf, weith the stock leafs below. You cut the eyes off of the donor leaf.

or you could use an aal but I think they're junk they always seem to crack after a year or two.
