idle issue

when i start up the jeep after its been sitting (like at lunch, or in the morning) its stuttering.  like it fires up but if i touch the gas it stalls out and knocks.  (sounds like it at least)  the idle is fine.  just for a minute or so i can't really give it any throttle; it either stalls or stutters then revs up.
this is recent;  i put the old throttle body on the otherday that has the original sensors for my old 91' motor and now its not running nice at all before its warm.
ideas?

motor runs good. i think its just something to do with the throttle body i put on it. maybe its leaky until it warms up a bit and seals.   theres no gasket for those things, but sometimes i hear a squeel too...........

Just the ones that don't cooperate.  Wrenching is still way better than golf or something.

My TJ needs love now.. Maybe it will cooperate and get me out wheeling

Actually there is a tb gaasket between the TB and manifold...maybe it leaking and trying to run lean before it can warm up and seal itself? clean the iac and tps too...

i could not see said gasket, but it DOES feel like a leak issue.  can you get the spacer from autovalue? 
i'll clean the sensors with WD or something too. i cleaned the connectors but not the actual sensors.

Yep...its a TB gasket..all of 3 or 4 dollars at autovalue....and use throttle body cleaner on the iac and tps not wd40...just dont mess with the pintle on the iac..or it will never work properly! lol..

You can check for leaks with a propane torch or flammable brake cleaner. Spray SMALL amount around suspected leak and see if idle changes.
If it changes do it again to make sure. Do not spray around plug wires incase you have a short in one.

so i swapped the tps and iac, no dice. cleaned them good too. its gotta be in the TB .  somethings up with it.  tomorrow i'm going to swap back to the one that came on the manifold (the 96  only thing is that one came with the MAP attached to the TB, but comp still runs off the old one.  bah. so i have to seal up the old MAP.... any ideas?

check your charcoal canister make sure the pad at bottom isnt plugged and the lines are open sometimes they can fill with gas  and cause the gastank to not vent properly

the squeal is probably a vacuum leak at the throttle body ti manifold that gets compensated for in closed loop. Get a gasket (o-ring possibly?) and try again.
