Where are you coming from?
around Calgary there are lots of trails but not so much rock gardens , further into the mountains the steeper the trails get.

 Welcome are you recreational or competitive ?  Thare are some rocks around  in spots here and there.  Locals  won,t tell to avoid trail closures cause of media and the enviros crowd   Lots of heavy rock in the kootenaays . There are a couple of four wheel stampeders members who have done every  werock compatition in the states and are currently  I think in second place overall in the unlimited class. we have steep hills, off camber, cracks  and mud holes errr  water holes.       is your buggy half jeep?  got pictures?

Hey thanks for the welcome. I'm currently in the Seattle area and not afraid to travel to find the good trail.

No competition here, purely recreational but I like the rocks. Here's a pic from my driveway not too long ago.

We have the most insane trails. The only limitation is YOU (and a crappy rig, i guess). In other words, how much courage can you muster?
Steep ups and downs that have had Mother nature constantly erode the trail making it even tuffer.
Rocks?

OK so what was your rig at one time and what is it now?

It started life in 1995 as an Orvis edition Grand Cherokee. In bought it used in October 1998 with 32k on it and an extended warranty!

All that work on it and you still run a Warn Combo mount for the winch mount?  Whats up with that? I lost mine after the first time those lower mounts dragged coming out of a hole.

I run a '93 Grand Cherokee with Long arms and 36s and find lots to challenge me. Only problem you might have is that you need insurance and plates to run the trails here and you might have a problem getting it to pass an out of province inspection.

You could try to plate it as an offroad vehicle but then it could never be driven on the street or even the gravel roads connecting the trails(not leagally anyway) which is a pain. Others have done this with buggy type vehicles but I've never looked into it.

It's currently plated/registered as an off road vehicle in Washington state right now so no worries there.

looks cool. out here the norm is trails with mud, climbs, cut lines, rutted trails. not really much for rocks. gotta head to the interior bc or anything east starting in manitoba.
the hard part for you may be trying to get that licensed out here. especially since you're not from this country. a few folks on here have brought some vehicles over so they would have a better idea.
the jist is yes, there are plenty of trails for you to use your jeep on. come for a visit.

im gonna say 6 hours at least. interior bc has some good hardcore rock trails. ive only seen pics online. pm for more info.

I only familiar with trails around vancouver area,hut lake,eagle ridge,sunrise lake......all hardcore rock crawling trails,but gonna take you 10 hours to drive down there.And the famous "whipsaw trail" has rocks too,you still need over 7 hrs to drive to the town named princeton,and take 2 days to finish the whole trail.
